SAY IT!
SAY IT! Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Who we are. SAY IT! is published by Marvel Capital, Inc. Contact: admin@marvelcapitalinc.online.
About this policy. SAY IT! is in development and is not yet available in app stores. This policy describes how the app is being built to handle information. We will update it before release if anything changes.
The short version
- SAY IT! has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Everything you and your children do in SAY IT! (lessons, stars, settings and learner nicknames) is saved on your device. We never receive it, and we can't see it.
- SAY IT! does not use the microphone, camera, contacts, photos or location.
- SAY IT! is free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
- Kids Mode keeps grown-up settings, and the way out of Kids Mode, behind a parent gate.
- The SAY IT! app does not send any information over the internet. (On Android, the phone's own speech service may; see section 3.)
1. Information saved on your device
SAY IT! saves the following on your device only, in the app's private storage:
| What | Why | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Learner profiles: a nickname a parent chooses (up to 20 characters, e.g. “Mia” or “Child 2”), a picture (an emoji such as 🦊) and a color | To tell learners apart on a shared device | Only people using your device |
| Learning progress: lessons finished, stars, badges, streaks, flashcard review dates, goals | So each learner can continue where they left off | Only people using your device |
| Settings: the language being learned, the learner's own language, age group, speech speed, display options, and whether Kids Mode is on | To show the right lessons, and to keep a child in Kids Mode until a grown-up exits it | Only people using your device |
- We never ask for a child's full name, birthday, photo, voice, email address, phone number or location.
- We never receive this information. SAY IT! has no server of its own and no cloud sync, and the app never sends it anywhere.
- Your phone's own backup: if you use iCloud Backup or Android backup, your phone may include SAY IT!'s saved data in your backup, in your own account. That backup is controlled by you and Apple or Google, not by us.
2. Information sent over the internet
SAY IT! does not send any information over the internet. It has no server of its own, and the store version of the app doesn't check for updates in the background: new lessons and fixes arrive only as normal App Store and Google Play updates, which your phone's store handles under Apple's or Google's own terms.
3. Speech (the app speaking words aloud)
- SAY IT! speaks words using the text-to-speech voice built into your phone. Some lessons instead play recordings included in the app.
- The app doesn't send lesson text to us.
- On iPhone, the built-in voices run on the device.
- On Android, speech is produced by the text-to-speech service chosen in the phone's settings (for example, Google's). Some of those services may use the internet for some voices, under their own privacy terms.
4. Children's privacy and Kids Mode
SAY IT! has a Kids Mode for ages 3–13, designed for children to use with a parent or guardian.
- No personal information is collected from children. We do not collect, use or disclose personal information from children, and no child can create an account, chat, post, or contact anyone in the app.
- No ads, no in-app purchases, no links out of the app, and no social features in Kids Mode.
- Parent gate: grown-up settings ask an arithmetic question a young child is unlikely to answer: choosing the age group, resetting progress, managing goals and leaving Kids Mode. A child who closes and reopens the app stays in Kids Mode.
- Content: lessons use simple everyday words (animals, food, family, colors). The lessons were drafted with the help of AI and have not been reviewed by native speakers; the app says so on every language. We check every lesson with automated tests.
Parents' rights. All of a child's data is on your device, so you control it directly:
- See it: open the learner's profile and progress in the app.
- Delete it: remove an added learner in Family; reset a child's progress in Kids Mode → Grown-ups → Parent settings (behind the parent gate); or delete the app, which erases everything.
- Because we never receive this data, we cannot see, change or delete it for you, and there is nothing for us to hand over.

5. What we don't do
We don't:
- sell or share personal information
- show ads
- use analytics or crash-reporting services
- use advertising identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID)
- track you across apps or websites
- use cookies in the app
- ask for permission to use the microphone, camera, photos, contacts or location
6. Data retention and deletion
- Data on your device stays there until you remove a learner, reset progress or delete the app.
- We keep no data about you or your children, because we never receive any.
7. Security
- Data is kept in the app's private storage, which the phone's operating system protects.
- Use your device's passcode to keep it private from other people with access to the device.
8. Your rights (EU/UK, California and elsewhere)
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, or to object to its use.
- Because SAY IT! keeps your data only on your device, you can exercise these rights directly in the app, as described in section 4.
- Questions about your rights: admin@marvelcapitalinc.online.
9. Changes to this policy
- If we add anything that changes how data is handled, such as accounts, cloud sync or purchases, we will update this policy before that feature is released and show a notice in the app.
- For changes that affect children's data, we will ask for a parent's consent where the law requires it.
10. Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to fix problems you report. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we don't sell or share your message, except that it is stored by our email provider. We delete support emails once they're no longer needed to help you.
Children: SAY IT! never asks children to email us. Please don't let a child send us personal information. If we learn that a message came from a child under 13, we will reply only once, if needed, and then delete the message and the email address promptly. We won't use it to contact the child again.
